When Is the Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2026?
This year the Phuket Vegetarian Festival runs 10–18 October 2026 — nine full days following the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. The Go Teng pole-raising ceremony opens the festival on 9 October, after which the famous processions set out from shrines across the island in the early morning, winding through the Old Town amid firecrackers and clouds of incense.
